These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you can visit our website (https://rigolshop.eu/), order and buy goods through our online delivery service.

Please read through these terms and conditions carefully before using this website. We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions from time to time. In respect of any ordered goods, the terms and conditions which apply shall be those which you accepted when placing the order. Please also read our Privacy Policy regarding your personal information.

We accept the following methods of payment:

  • Bank Transfer (pre-payment / Vorkasse)
  • Klana Sofort
  • Giropay
    • Mastercard
    • VISA
    • American Express

Your account will be debited once your order has been processed and accepted. All transactions are in EURO and include VAT where applicable.

From 14 September 2019, retailers and card issuers may need to comply with new security requirements. The security requirements are imposed on banks and payment processors by the Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2), taking effect in the European Economic Area (EEA).

Your bank may now require strong customer authentication (SCA) when using a credit or debit card online. SCA can be a passcode sent via text or email, a security question or redirection to your bank's website.

PSD2 has been introduced to provide better protection for your online payments. Your card-issuing bank sends the SCA, not RIGOL EU. For any issues with the process, you should contact your card-issuing bank (their phone number should be on the back of your card). If you’re having difficulties making purchases on RIGOL EU Onlineshop, please contact us via Email: info@rigolshop.eu

We make every effort to ensure that your order is carefully despatched to you, and we hope that you’re happy with your purchase. However, if you have any cause for dissatisfaction with your goods you may return them.

Please note that refunds can only be made to the payment method that was originally used to purchase the goods.

To request a return, you can contact info@rigolshop.eu for your Return Request and your Return Shipping Label.

Please return the items in their original undamaged boxes/packaging. It would be helpful if they are accompanied by a return note, but this is not obligatory.

Under distance selling regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 30 days from the receipt of goods.

RIGOL hereby warrants its products’ mainframe and accessories in materials and technologies within the warranty period. During the period concerned, RIGOL guarantees the free replacement or repair of products that are approved as defective.

The mainframes of RIGOL’s products have a three-year warranty and the accessories such as probe and test pen (with the exception of power cord, USB, and BNC cable) have a one-year warranty. In the above-mentioned periods, any hardware or software error caused by quality flaws will be examined and repaired by the RIGOL Maintenance Center or its authorized maintenance branch free of charge if the customer provides the warranty card and maintenance record card. RIGOL provides paid maintenance for products outside of the warranty period.

The warranty period starts from the date of the valid certificate of purchase (receipt or invoice). If the invoice cannot be offered, the starting date will adopt the manufacturer’s delivery date.

The warranty is void if:

1. Accidental damage occurs during transportation (please confer with the insurance agency or transportation company on the compensation).

2. Malfunction or damage is caused by misuse according to warnings in the product documentation or using or storing in an environment outside of the specification’s limits.

3. Surface damage by manmade factors, like burn, distortion by force, etc.

4. Repaired by anyone who is not from RIGOL Maintenance Center or an authorized maintenance branch.

5. Accident damage caused by using a power cord or a power adapter not approved by RIGOL.

6. Unofficial Licenses are Installed.

7. Malfunction or damage caused by natural calamities, like earthquakes, lightning strikes, etc.

RIGOL will do the maintenance after verifying with customers that the product is out of warranty, and return the repaired products after receiving payment for the repair cost.

RIGOL assumes partial maintenance responsibility which is reasonable and operable and refuses to accept any other responsibility for the damage caused by the customers’ wrong operation.

Products with fault not covered by warranty should be transported to RIGOL Maintenance Center to have a repair, and the consignor will pay the transportation cost.

The customer should return the goods in their original packaging to RIGOL. Liability and warranty service will not be accepted for damage caused by improper packaging. For customers getting a replacement product, all accessories must be included to get full credit toward the replacement product.

RIGOL shall have the option to require that any defective Products be returned to RIGOL or be destroyed at RIGOL’s expense.

The RIGOL warranty does not apply to expired calibration or defects resulting from unauthorized modification or misuse of the Product or any part. This warranty does not apply to fuses, batteries, or damage to the instrument caused by battery leakage.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use. RIGOL shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages.
